This was designed for my eighth grade learners. Learners first explore events in history that have been legal but, they will determine, perhaps not right. While exploring, they will be asked to define what "right" means to them. Then, they will conduct research to identify something going on today that they deem is legal but not right. Finally, they will learn about political activism take action on that issue in a form that they choose.
You'll want to edit some of the text to fit your needs since my learners are asked to share things with me by name and create your own padlets. Otherwise, they'll get really crowded if we all add to the same ones.
