Description
This hyperdoc has some bio info/video on JWR with activities using his poem, "A Worn-Out Pencil." Van Gogh's art, "Worn Out," is also included to compare and relate. The culmination is writing a diamante poem and finding a picture that illustrates the poem for a Google Slide. It suggests students use the Read, Write, Think interactive tool for diamante, and then doing a screen capture of their results to place on the Google Slide. However, can use any form of poetry by typing onto the Google Slide. My 3rd & 4th graders really enjoyed the diamante creator from Read, Write, Think.
