Starting with a question and a standard, students get to go about learning the information on their own (with guided practices) and have the freedom to find their own sources to support their opinion on if Andrew Carnegie is a robber-baron or a captain of industry. To conclude thier learning and practice their critical thinking skills, a scaffolded debate will occur after students form their opinions.
