Teaching Adverbs Of Time – Just - Already - Yet And Still - Off2Class ESL Lesson Plan

"Adverbs of time at a glance This pre-intermediate lesson plan starts with a review of some already familiar vocabulary like yesterday, tomorrow and next year. The lesson continues by introducing the featured adverbs of time. Then, students will have ample opportunity to practice using the target vocabulary. I love using these activities as review in later lessons as well. By the end of the lesson, your students will have a clearer understanding of adverbs of time. They’ll leave class feeling confident enough to begin using them in everyday conversation. If you want additional lesson plans and support, including teachers’ notes, be sure to register for a free Off2Class account."

Teaching The Future With Will: A Lesson Plan For ESL Teachers

"When to Teach the Future with Will? English language teachers usually teach the simple future tense after teaching the future with going to. It’s important to differentiate when we use will and when we use going to- this lesson does just that. This ready-to-teach lesson plan focuses on the positive form of will and even introduces the term shall. As well, students will learn about when to use will versus going to. Finally, you will teach students how to make predictions. This lesson is easy to follow and perfect as an introduction to the simple future tense. It is complete with picture-prompt activities and gap-fill exercises so your students will have ample opportunity to practice. If you want additional lesson plans and support, including teachers’ notes, be sure to register for a free Off2Class account."

Lesson Plan on Balanced Forces

In the world of physics, forces are invisible pushes or pulls that can cause an object to move, change direction, or stop. Imagine a tug-of-war game. If both teams pull with the same strength, the rope stays in the middle and doesn't move to either side. This is because the forces are balanced. When forces on an object are balanced, they cancel each other out, and the object doesn't move. However, if one team pulls harder, they'll win, and the rope moves to their side. This represents unbalanced forces. In simple terms, balanced forces keep things still, while unbalanced forces make things move!
